On a road trip thru Wisconsin we happened upon Pasture Pride. Great selection of cheeses however, the young woman working behind the counter was hating her job today. When I asked for a toothpick to taste the samples, she slammed them down in front of us. When I thanked her, she commented As long as people use them and don’t use their fingers. When my husband asked about the aging process of some of the older cheeses, she said I could explain it to you but you wouldn’t understand. At that point we left, putting the 20 year aged cheddar back in the cooler we were interested in buying and going to another store.
