Beautiful park next to a rustic downtown. Paved trails encircle a large pond, and border a river, creating some nice walking paths and scenery. Playground near the entrance.

I love Baumann Park! We took our kids there for many years and now our granddaughter loves it as well. The playground is pretty nice and the bike path around the pond is great! Most of the time visiting the park is a very pleasant experience.

Beautiful park tucked away in Cherry Valley! The lake has beautiful clear water and lots of areas to fish from the bank, which is good because they do not allow boats or kayaks on the lake. The fishing is good, lots of panfish the kids would enjoy catching. They have decent bass and catfish too. The sign says there are pike but I have yet to see one. They do stock trout every year too! I have seen a perch but only once. If you do not like fishing there is a playground for kids, a path around the lake, and there are gazebos, picnic tables, and, benches along it as well. Have yourself a nice picnic/meal with The family or a date. They have bathrooms and out houses too. The river is on the other side of the lakes parking lot. You can catch fish, and some summer days you can see tubers and kayakers coming down the river. So if you are in the area, check this park out and enjoy a wonderful day!
