Bill and Dianne were outstanding hosts to a bunch of newbies. Bill went out of his way to help us with problems we encountered. Would definitely back

Camp sites look big for a 5th wheel and a surly, low trees ripped off part of camper no room to back a camper too many trees unless your an expert. Terrible trip, Good Samaritan offered his campsite and it had no electricity and all sites are on hills.

I chose the hike/ bike up camping option and it did not disappoint! Camping in thaT section is quiet, more secluded although you will still have neighbors, and theres no electricity so the stars and wildlife are all around. The view is gorgeous!

Questions & Answers

If we arrive before 3 pm check in time is there a place to park so we can ride the bike trails before checking into campsite?

When we were there this July, no one was there to check in, so you can probably just go to your site early. If not, there is also lot of parking. You can also call as they are there to help you as well with any questions over the phone if not in person.

Can anyone tell me how private the campsites are? Are there trees between them to block view and be more secluded? They look very close together on the website.

They are some what close together, but have a lot of trees and plants in between them. You usually don't notice they are there. In mine and my wife's opinion Blue Mound is by far the best camping park in southern Wisconsin. They all have their perks and downfalls. But, you can't beat Blue Mound for camping. Especially if you want electric sites.

When do you close for the season?

They're open year round. Some camping and other areas are not available. However, it seems to be very popular with cross country skiing.
