I loved the fathers day trip we took up there, it was a really great day. I also got kicked in the brain with a random memory of me catching like 10 catfish down by the campground, when I was younger lol.

always a good time. no lifeguards, plenty of space. it’s usually a little dirty, and their money system seems a little random (sometimes it’s cash only, sometimes it’s not). all in all, a great place to hang out.

Love this park. The lake is generally clean in the swimming area, people tend to be courteous while utilizing the facilities.

We took the Rock Hollow Nature Trail, which I’d say is moderate, as it has some steep places and there are rocks and roots to watch out for. Very pretty, well marked, and shady, with many interpretive signs. It’s a loop trail, less than a mile long, I’d say.
