Heirloom - A Milltown Eatery

I’m traveling for work and staying at the Residence Inn behind the restaurant. There was a menu in my room for Heirloom, so I decided to try it out. Usually, I dine across the street at City Range, but I wanted something different and was not disappointed! The hostess, Brenda, was so charming and kind - the true epitome of southern hospitality. The weather was gorgeous, so I sat outside. My server, Brie, was quick to welcome me and get a glass of rosé on the way. Brie also brought out a basket of the most mouth-watering biscuits and butter spread. For dinner, I tried a few dishes: maple pecan brussels, watermelon salad, lemon grilled asparagus, and garlic roasted red potatoes. Every dish was cooked exactly as it should and seasoned to perfection. The garlic roasted red potatoes were my favorite, with the watermelon salad a very close second! Overall, a fantastic dining experience, and I’ve already told several local friends to try it out. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Spartanburg!

Nice clean place. Nice chill atmosphere. The stake was cooked prefect but was flavor less. I got a side of Mac and Cheese and for the money it was plentiful but not my favorite style of Mac and Cheese. The hamburger was over cooked when I ask for it to be cooked medium so it was dry and hard. The appetizer was very good. Service was Great 👍. Overall pleasant experience descent food but not my cup of tea I don't think I would come back there are too many other restaurants in the upstate to come back.

Wonderful dining experience. Creative specials and engaging team. Trout and the Short Ribs were exceptional. The grilled oysters were amazing. We even asked for extra fresh bread, which was awesome. Only issue is we could not make a reservation through open table, but we just called the restaurant. We will definitely return!

What a cute place! We throughly enjoyed our experience. Our waiter Dale was great and helpful. I had the indigo mule which was super yummy and flavorful . For our app we had the grilled oysters and the fried green tomatoes. The fried green tomatoes were cooked to perfection and the candied jalapeños and pork belly were such a nice touch. For the entree I had the fried chicken with maple Brussels sprouts. Overall great meal and even better experience! I’ll definitely be back again!
