I lived in the skyline neighborhood for 8 years. When Sun purchased the park it went downhill quickly. Here are a few reasons I say this. 1. When sun took over the community they took my initial deposit I had on file for 4 years, they threw out my old contract and made me sign a new one and pay another deposit on threat of eviction. And of coarse I could not fight them legally as they have an attorney they sick on you immediately without any remourse and for literally anything they want. 2.The on sight management is terrible. They go through managers every 6 months to a year and the one there now is rarely available and does not do her job at all. 3. Leaving the park! I moved out in August of 2020, it took multiple calls, always cleared hung up on or sent to voice mail during business hours and and finally I wrote in to the corporate office to recieve my deposit back. In the mean time they continued to bill me and I recieved letters to my new address about payments I had missed since moving g out. I recievwd a call from the VP and was put onto a 3 way call with the site manager who claimed she did not know I moved out, she was assisting a resident in the park and they were buying up properties and selling them. I recieved a partial deposit with an invoice for a bill in December of 2020 when I had already been moved out for 3 months at that point. Since that I have called the office numerous times being hung up on and forwarded to voice-mail never receiving a call back I reached back out to the corporate office a month ago and I have had no response from them. They stole my first deposit, they stole part of my second deposit that they wrongfully took from me in the first place and like the terrible company that they are they have refused to address this situation and are falling back on what they have done many times with so many other park residents they just avoid you the situation knowing that they have their legal team and most of us can't afford the time to fight them. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of all sun communities!

THEY INCREASED THE LOT RENT IN MAY, DURING A PANDEMIC! They say they increase the lot rent according to the local market value. I wonder if they will lower the lot rent this year since the market is heading downwards? When they bought the park they took away free water. The people that can't afford the extra expense (a lot of people living on a fixed income here), don't water. There are a lot of dry, pitiful yards. They also added a pet fee—$10 per cat or dog. They can't explain to me why I get charged when my cats never touch their property. This is the most expensive park in Norther Colorado. It is quiet, has beautiful trees and the people that live are wonderful. It is the best park in town, just do not expect financial compassion.

Staff is nice when it's convenient and you don't need anything, amenities stated are not always available and overpriced for what you receive. Rent goes up every year sometimes you are notified sometimes not. The huge fantastic trees are getting cut down more and more, gets a little less nice everytime. Most of the residents are great.

Great retirement place. Friendly place to be with everyone being extremely nice. Definitely if you have a problem in the park call ABA mobile home parts and service. He is friendly and does the job right the first time.

Wow Phil, just 6 in the full loop in and out of my place! That's not counting what could be going on in about 350 others!
No renting is allowed in Skyline. Owners must be 55 or older and be the occupant. Someone 45 or older is allowed to live with the 55 or older person, but no renters.
No RV spots in Skyline. There is a small area in the back of the park where an RV can be stored for an additional fee.
