5⭐️+! This was the most beautiful trail ride I have ever been on. The staff, the guides, the facilities were top notch. We had 3 kids- 2 who have never rode before and they did great🙌. We did the 2-hour trails and enjoyed every minute!! Highly recommend Jackie and his incredible family❤️

Abby was amazing I highly recommend her for a guide. Horses are very well taken care of and the trail is breathtakingly beautiful. I can’t wait to come back and do a longer session. Great team, place, and horses!

My family visited me from out of town. I wanted them to experience the thrill of horseback riding in Asheville. We visited Sandy Bottom Trail Rides and had an absolutely wonderful time. The staff took great care of us, knowing that we had never gone horseback riding before. They took every precaution to ensure our safety, and they were gentle and personable with us, which kept us feeling calm and comfortable with the new experience. The scenery of the mountains and the fields along the trail was magical. The horses were gentle and responded well to each of us. It was an amazing experience with a highly professional, engaging staff.

Thank you guys for saving the day! After another stable lost our reservation we reached out blindly to this awesome place! They were able to squeeze us in to alleviate all tears my 12 and 8 year old had! The staff was amazing for these novice riders and turned our day around. If you want to trail ride use them! Professional, knowledgeable and 4 generation family owned and ran. Trust me you won’t go wrong. Thanks to Teddie for helping my little one have her BEST day! We will be back.

I did not ask, it is 100.00 for a 3 hour ride to the mine. They provide the horses. They do not allow personal horses. Sorry I could not help with your question. They are great if you call them and ask.

How long to go depends on how much you enjoy horseback / the scenery. I went for an hour and it wasn't nearly long enough. Will do the 4 hour trip next time I'm back. Prices are typically listed on their website.
