I was dying for a Thrifty ice cream cone tonight and come to find out the freezer has been down since January! How can the freezer be down for 8 months, are they that cheap that they can’t fix it or purchase i new car be? So many people look forward to stopping by for a cone, guess they don’t care about the customers. 😤 Update 8/19/22 I received a call this morning from the manager at the Oceanside location and he explained to me that new freezers are on back order. Rite Aid responded very quickly to this review to rectify the issue.

I always drive the extra miles to go to this particular Rite Aid because of their customer service and super friendly associates. They always have super good sales and usually have everything I am looking for.

I have major privacy concerns when they want to scan my ID for purchasing alcohol. I offered the cashier to look at my ID but due to privacy concerns I didn't want my information in their system. Their computer systems look like they belong in the early 90s and don't inspire much confidence in security. I was unable to make a purchase here even though I was perfectly able to produce written evidence of age. The whole experience felt as if they weren't interested in helping or explore other ways to verify my age. I used to stop here almost daily after work and make daily small purchases such as milk or cheese but after today I have no interests in coming back.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is providing free adult N95 masks at Rite Aid stores. Supplies are limited. Please visit the mask table or the pharmacy checkout to receive your free (limit 3 per person) masks while supplies last. If your local store hasn't received their masks yet, you can speak with the Manager for more information and when they'll be available.
