They had the car we wanted and the price was what we were willing to pay. Came back with a check for the full amount, but had to wait 1.5 hour for the finance guy to finish with another couple before they could process our papers. Other than that, Auto City was easy to work/deal with. they were upfront with pricing and provided the CarFax report for us.

This place had the vehicle I wanted so I went there and thought I had a seamless time. My issue arises months after purchase when I received a $1100 dmv registration bill, after I was informed by a salesman and a member of the finance department that I wouldn't be getting any dmv letters or renewals until I have had the vehicle for over a year. Sounded awesome at the time, until now the are denying all statements and saying no one said that, and I'm on my own for a $1100 bill that I had no planning for. I'm a 100% disabled combat veteran who is 100% unemployable. I don't have that kind of money just waiting around to pay bills that I was told I wouldnt have. I think they took advantage of me, and said what they needed to to make the sale. I will be escalating this to the BBB, and whoever I need to so it doesnt happen to anyone else

I am just recovering from a nightmare of a bankruptcy, they sent my info to numerous lenders! 13 hard inquiries in one day! THEY HAD THE NERVE TO LIE OVER THE PHONE! Tell me my credit won't be affected! IT'S ALREADY DROPPED 2 POINTS, I am back to where I was at before the bankruptcy! These assholes had the nerve to call me an tell me I was approved for a 400 dollar payment a month. Do not turn your credit info to these guys, don't deal with them, I repeat DON'T DEAL WITH THESE GUYS. I AM COMPLETELY RUINED!
Hello Faviola. On some occasions the lender can refuse to fund the loan. This can happen for a number of reasons and if your dealer cannot find financing they will ask to bring the vehicle back. This is rather common when buying a car and can happen at any dealership, and it does happen all the time. Dealers rely on lenders for funding and lenders and underwriters can void approvals, change approval terms at their own discretion, for example, if they cannot verify some info on the application.
