They are rarely friendly or ask questions pertaining to your citizenship. It is a major waste of taxpayers money and a waste of time. They need to tear this station down and put them patrolling near an actual border. Lots of American citizens are being given a hard time at this location

Went through check point today. Officer asked me what my personal licence plate said. Don't know if he really didn't know or just his way of getting us to talk. Was very pleasant but looked like he just got straight out of Prison. Silver tooth, full body tattoos including something like (San Diego) tattooed across his neck and a silver chain. Almost looked like straight out of a movie. Prisoner escaped and tied up border Patrol and was impersnating him. I always thought law enforcement including border Patrol couldn't show or have tattoos so people would think they have higher authority and look the part of law abiding citizens.

Rude staff and unconstitutional stops and searches. This is America, home to Mexicans and Natives, yet they wave non natives through these checkpoints and stop the natives? Disgusting...

On Sunday, July 5, 2015 at 5:00 AM, traveling from Florida, as I was approaching the Border Patrol Station, the shifter on my motorcycle broke off as I was downshifting. The officers fixed the shifter with wire and zip tie so securely that it held together all the way to San Diego, CA. Staff at SD HD were impressed with ingenuity of Joe Espinoza, who of course became my hero and a dear friend since that incident. They are the nicest guys I've ever met in my travels! I am for ever grateful for their help.
