We wanted to go somewhere unique to the area while visiting and Cootie Brown’s was recommended. Cool building and decor. Our waiter was really on point! The food was average (nachos, sandwiches). Not bad at all but not something you’d go out of your way to eat again. Now the chocolate cake is a whole different story! It was delicious!! And the home style chips were really good! And just had to get a t-shirt because it is tie dyed and I love the name of the place. It’s a conversation starter for sure!

Great food and atmosphere! We've been here many times and it never disappoints. Definitely a go to spot in Johnson City

Unsanitary. Stay away! The food sucked it was well below sub par. Our bill was $190.00. We saw a mouse running on the blower 3ft from our table. My Reuben sandwich bread was not only halfed but broken apart before i even touched it. The pickle served with it was old and dried out when I told a waitress about the mouse she said they know about it and have been trying to catch it and she was not bothered by it. Our table and chairs were sticky and dirty, the floor, kitchen, and bathrooms are filthy. The only saving grace was our server Adam. The Washington county health dept needs to visit this place. I have updated this post since we left there 25 minutes ago and are now home. My wife and I are both feeling ill after eating there. We will never go back! They need to be shut down they are a hazard to public safety.

Fun spot for lunch. Huge menu so it is easy to spot something you like. We enjoyed sitting outside on a nice spring day. Food was good and we enjoyed the large slice of Key Lime Pie!

Tables are distanced, employees are wearing mask, sanitizer is offered by the entrance, customers wearing mask until seated at tables.

First come first served. But it would be worth the wait
I wouldn't recommend it. The place is really cool 5 stars out of 5. The muffuletta sammy was 2/5. The relish is not even the original spread. I've had better muffaletas. It's a hard sammy to make and its delish when it's done well. Imo- if a restaurant can't do this sammy well, they should remove it from its menu.
Go online and you can order from there.
There wasn't any nutritional info on the menus.
They do have GF items, but no dedicated prep or cooking areas. They also now have GF key lime pie which is delicious!
