I was tent camping at Windrock Campground and it was a decent place. My site was fine and the bathrooms were ok. My biggest issue was the lack of there being a quiet hours or at least a lack of someone to enforce them. There were people driving their UTVs and ATVs past midnight and being obnoxiously loud. It was EXTREMELY frustrating. There is no trail right there, people were literally just revving their engines and riding in circles. After a horrible night of sleep, I was woken up to an excavator starting digging at 6am…. I get this campground is super convenient because it’s right next to the off-road park, but if you are a light sleeper or a tent camper, AVOID this campground.

Very nice park. Great bath house. Really clean. The park was quite and every one was friendly.

Beautiful campgrounds, easy access to sites, ladies who greeted us were very helpful and friendly. Loved our stay here. Great offroading trails to tackle

One of my favorite offroad parks in the United States. Well run, all encompassing, large complete facility. Beautiful campground, with clean restrooms/bath houses, well mapped, fully stocked general store, ethanol free gas on site, restaurant, plenty of parking, beautiful cabins, RC car park, clean well maintained access roads. If you are wanting to go to a park where you can spend a great weekend with your family or friends this place should be on the top of your list. There are so many trails you could spent an entire week here and not even scratch the surface.

There are many atv only trails, but many more jeep/4x4 trails. Plenty wide.
Yes, trail number 2 is simply ammaaaaazzziiinngg in a car like that. Hold er' steady at 40-42 mph and make sure you have a good e brake. You'll want it for kickin' out in the corners. On this trail, you can get acceptable amounts of air for a smaller car, and there's nothing better than seeing some jeep dude's face when you pass em' in the corners. Have fun and wear your seatbelt.
As others have said, there is everything from mild to wild.
My husband and his group STLCA holds a event of over 120 rigs every year. I have seen 11 years learning to drive. I have seen 1 and under riding... So it is up to the driver. It is a awesome place. Any other questions tag me been going there 7 years
It is far enough from the full hook up sites that a quite one would be alright
No flags. Yes 110 are ok any under 18 must have a helmet.
