So yummy! So many gluten free options! The sauce is spectacular.

Alpaca Peruvian Charcoal Chicken is a must if you're visiting Durham, NC. The restaurant offers tasty and plentiful Peruvian cuisine, and extremely friendly service. Besides the well-cooked and juicy chicken, they offer a variety of other main plates, week night specials, and sides, which can be customized. Online ordering via their website is convenient and easy, and very helpful as they are often very busy. I had the Lomo Saltado, the Chop Chop special, Arroz Chaufa, and the Jerk Chicken: you can't go wrong with any dish they have!

We visit Durham a few times each year and Alpaca is always a must for us. Every location is great! The chicken is juicy and tender, the tostones are hot and fresh. If you like caramel, try the Alfajores for dessert. I’d give this 10 stars if I could.

We love Alpaca. When we are in Durham, we eat here. We visited last week and this is the first place we came after leaving the airport. The lomo saltado is the best we've ever had and they have this yellow sauce that is *AMAZING* that we eat with everything there. we love this place!

I always order ahead and get my food from the register. They have plastic shields in front of the register, and the staff wears masks. There is limited seating in the restaurant, so I felt like I could mostly social distance. They might bring out food to a car if you ask them. I have not tried to do that here.
Yup. Dogs are good
