The site had a picnic table and a great view of the water. The trail to the point was well kept, we saw turkeys and many other birds, and the view was beautiful!

I don't know if you have to request a site, when I have been there in the past, I have never seen anyone camping. It's primitive camping, and there aren't any assigned spots. I think you just put your tent where you want it.
