My husband’s ribs and the rice n beans were fantastic. My steak would have been fantastic if it were cooked. I ordered it well done and when it was brought out, it was literally still bleeding when I cut into it. We sent it back and a few minutes later it was returned. One side was a little less red (cooked more at medium well), but the other side was still bleeding. I don’t like pink to begin with, but I’m pregnant and cannot have pink in my steak. I didn’t want to send it back again, so just ate the side that was medium well. Paid $26 for a 12 ounce steak and really only got about 4 ounces of steak. Not worth it at all. The hostess was also very rude when we came in, but our waitress was fantastic!

Food (and dessert) are delicious. My husband and I both started with beef patty (pastry pocket). The crust and filling were perfectly textured and delicious. Served hot! Ribs with curried rice (photo) were incredibly delicious. And a generous portion. Some of the best ribs I’ve had. Fall off the bone, so tender, and smoky! Nothing was spicy, just well seasoned. We both had homemade key lime pie for dessert. It was even better than the pie we’d had the night before at an upscale steakhouse. Will be back!

Had a wonderful time with my family. The server, George, was super nice and helpfully explained the menu and the history behind the restaurant. The food was awesome as well as the atmosphere. Def 10/10 would recommend.
