It's a nice park and pretty much clean. It has enough benches, picnic areas with barbecue. Has tennis, basketball courts and walking and bike lanes. A huge grass area as well. The only problem is the playground. Needs to be updated. The padded surface is breaking down, swings are gone and everything just looks old. Looks like they just get rid of things once they break down and don't replace them. The restrooms are right next to the playground and usually clean.

Live Oak Park is really nice Park to relax have lunch an a great place to have birthday party most of all it's really nice when it's not crowded the only thing is they don't have their public restroom are always closed they should have it open if they don't want people using the inside restroom.

The park is nice and offers a walking/running path. Sidewalks around the entire park for bikes & skaters. I had a weird interaction with a man and his small daughter. He chose to walk passed me and my large dog (within two feet) and rudely and loudly asks if my dog bites. I was sitting at a picnic table at the time eating lunch, and my dog way laying on the ground by my feet. The man just wanted to be confrontational. He came back around and told me that the park doesn't allow dogs, and that I should leave. I told him to not to speak to me, so he decided to walk up on me. My dog calmly got up and barked at him once. He pointed and yelled that my dog was aggressive. This guy dookied in his pants. Now I always come to this park to walk my dog 🐕 ☺️

Anyone else notice the hoards of beetles lately here? Looks like some plague at night and feels like a war as all the beetles fly around and bump into people. The cement paths are also littered with them. They have some intense personalities. Other than that, I love this park for a good walk. Padded path could use a touch up though, it's lost its bounce.

I asked the office. They said twice around is just short of a mile.
Yes, I have too. And not only here. It seems the whole neighborhood is infested.
with the permission from the parks a rec. office i think it might be permitted...
less than a mile, maybe 3/4. There are markers along the walk way to tell you.
