Okay, so when you drive into this strip mall type situation, not far from Hollywood. It's easy to judge this place as a hole in the wall, but I declare it was NOT so! My party which was my Sister, me, and three Girlfriends, reserved our table which was an excellent idea because it gets full quick. It was our first visit, but definitely not our last. The serving staff were attentive, friendly, accomodating, and completely respectful of our time together. The appetitzers came out of the kitchen hot and fresh. We had just enough laughs and conversation to be ready for our meal when everyone"s hot plate came out of the kitchen. I just want to say the masita de puerco and the oxtail dish. 😋😋😋😋😋 There were no complaints by anyone at the table. You know when the silence happens, at table, because the food is delicious, it's a WIN! Then at 8:30pm, the Salsa lessons began --- it was so much fun. We had a blast! Then, a live band came up to play and it was wonderful to dance freely and hang with my Girls! If you want a new experience in Los Angeles put this gem on your list. It is definitely a place to take your friends and family to show of the Best of LA's rich cultural diversity. Thanks El Floridita for reminding me of why I love my city!

I drive past on the way home and have been curious. Man, the cubano is insane. I went for lunch and was amazed at the incredible sandwich and fresh fried plantain chips.

Great place and great music but I think that for the amount of people they get in the door, they should have either a bigger bar or more bartenders. We went on a Monday night for Salsa night and there was like 4 actors there that night. So cool. We spent about $10/person for the cover and drinks were closer to $10/drink. Bathrooms were decent and they had a lot of seating rooms.

OMG... I went to this place and it is ridiculous, first off they were charging me and my party $50 just to sit down not including food or anything, live music was good but it was only for an hour. if I'm paying to sit and have live music i would assume they would have live music all night. On top of that the servers were rude and told me several times that they didn't care if we came back and that I could write a bad review about them because they did not care so here I am as they requested of me to write my experience. I wish I could give them 20 bad reviews because of all the places I have gone out to eat ( and i go out to eat a lot ) this place was really bad they made a celebration that night turn into something bad. but yes I just wanted to let people know that they might turn ugly on you if you don't like how they things are there or ask to many questions.

If you book and consume $ 20 of food there is no cover. But if you do not make a reservation it depends on the band $ 10-20

It is not very familiar but it is not 21 and up. The time I went was at night the atmosphere was more than dinner and dance. I do not recommend bringing small children

I haven't been for a long time but as I remember Monday nights is good night for salsa dancing. I would call.
Its Salsa night there every night. Live music is typically Thur-Sat and Monday, Monday being their premier night, where they typically have the best music and professional and avid dancers come out in force. They are pretty good about posting on their website abd the bands that will be there and usually there is a cover on these nights if you dont arrive for dinner service in which you typically need reservations for.
No but if you want to dance when they have live ban probably better to reserve they get packed not necessary when no band
Salsa is Friday at eight, Saturday at nine, and Sunday at eight.
