Love Lake Arrowhead! Such a beautiful place. Friendly people and great places to eat. It does get crowded, but what place isn't crowded in the summer. I like Lake Arrowhead much better than Big Bear! We came here for the 4th of July and it definitely did not dissapoint. The city put on a spectacular fireworks show. Sorry there are no pictures of the lake. I wanted to be disconnected and left the phone.

Recently visited Lake Arrowhead for the first time which also happened to be their 100 year anniversary. It was a nice free event they had for the community. The Village area is a nice, safe place to stroll and shop. There are a wide variety of restaurants and shops available. I’ll definitely be planning more trips to visit Lake Arrowhead in the future.

Having been to Big Bear last year and recently Solvang in Central California I was excited to see Lake Arrowhead. The lake itself, homes nearby, and mountains around were quite beautiful. However, I was a little disappointed with the square aka village, it was dated from the 80s. The employees in stores were friendly but minus a couple interesting stores the village was definitely lacking current times. I can recommend that you visit once but to ever live within the vicinity the town definitely needs to up their game.

The village was not as big as I thought it would be. Still a nice time walking around. There are hotels, cabins, resorts all nearby the village. 7/11 and stater bros conveniently nearby. Some shops were no longer in business. Not a lot of shops that were interesting. There's a few eatery places to choose from. One ice cream place. Saw two restrooms. Nice day it wasn't crowded. Me and my kids ate at Papagayos, had coffee at the only coffee shop in the village and it was perfect. Bought a few things at the toy store, and at the fizz (soda)store. Played in the snow nearby. The lake views were really worth it. Nice outing overall. All employees at the village were very welcoming, professional, friendly and kind. Oh and there is a boat that departs throughout the day. There is also a shop that sells food to feed the ducks in the lake.

Posted signs in all shops, restaurants. They are very polite but firm on the crowd control policies. Have fun, be safe, respect CDC's guidelines.
This is from lhvrentals.com Can we swim in Lake Arrowhead? Similar to fishing, swimming in Lake Arrowhead is limited to the owners of property in the "Arrowhead Woods" and their guests. Some of our properties are located in the Arrowhead Woods and we do have Arrowhead Lake Association (ALA) passes giving you access to the 2 private beach clubs at the lake...the Burnt Mill Beach Club and the Tavern Bay Beach Club. The two beach clubs are officially open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. You can still access the beaches year round with the beach club passes. Our properties that are in the Arrowhead Woods state in the property description on our website that they include a ALA beach club cards that gives you access to the 2 private beach clubs, the ALA hiking trails around the lake and allows you to fish at Lake Arrowhead as our guest.
It's not too crowded Monday through Thursday. Weekends are a different story
The lake is private. You can only access it if you live within 1 mile of the lake
Nothing everything is open
Yes there is a parking structure available as well.
It depends. If you want to see snow in the winter it's not very likely since the elevation is only 5174 ft. If you want to avoid crowds avoid the summer months. Also since the lake is privately owned there's no public access to the water so it's probably better to enjoy from a distance without a bunch of boats running around.
I'm sure cold, i'm back in Texas, but we're expecting snow next week in SA.
Yes, dogs are allowed. They even have a designated dog area for dog bathroom breaks.
