I have been here for a week. I was hesitant at first, because of bad reviews from years ago. I am so glad I ignored them. I can honestly say I haven't been to the bathhouse, so I can't give an opinion. But this is this best campground I have ever stayed at. The lake is clean, no water shoes needed. I have not seen trash laying out. Even memorial day weekend...by 11pm it was Quiet as a church mouse. The owner and staff are constantly working, polite, and helpful. Yes, there are alot of permanent people...who crash at 10 pm. And the permanent lots are lived in. Not dirty or dangerous. The lake is amazing...a hidden gem. The people are just as amazing. Ignore the old reviews, yes this is a new owner.

This place has a lot of potential!!! We paid to swim and ate at the picnic tables. The two gentleman I'm assuming the owners or worked there were really nice. Afterwards we drove around to check out the camping areas. Wanted to camp out our next trip there. Seems alot of people live here? Unkept sites, over grown, one road was blocked off with a tarp and buckets. I was stopped and asked what we were doing by a older gentleman. When I told him we had payed to swim and was interested in possibly camping, he proceeded to tell me the campground is split between family members. He wasn't very clear but made me feel like there is drama. I would return to swim, not sure about camping here.

Great place, we parked here right on the lake and it's absolutely amazing. The owner is awesome. Kids love the lake. We love fishing. ( Could be more fish lol) and wifi wish there was some at least for campers.
