We rented A304 for a week. It was the best vacation ever! The kids had the downstairs bedroom and we had the upstairs with a balcony looking over the ocean. We slept with the sound of waves and woke to see surfers and sailboats. The facility is very secure and features two swimming pools, several fountains and beautiful gardens. Many attractions are within walking distance including a marina and the longest pier in California. I highly recommend staying here if you get the chance.

Such an amazing community! I love how well maintained the space is, and the staff is amazing! Kept very clean and secure! The pool and hot tub are amazing, it is right on the beach! All the amenities seem very high quality and well kept! I would highly recommend this community!

Spent 4 nights here the last week in September. Cannot say enough about the facility, location and staff. Gated community on the beach with security personnel. Accommodation was 1 bdr condo with balcony view of the ocean, underground parking with elevator access and tropical like grounds. This unit was 1/2 block to the beach, 30 minutes to San Diego and less than an hour to theme parks in Orange County. I did not want to leave and cannot wait to return.

As of last week they were both open all the time.
Each unit is independently owned and rented, so features will vary from unit to unit. You'll have to check with the unit owner to see if it has these features. We rented a unit recently that had grab bars in the tub, but the tub and toilet area was too small to get a wheelchair in.

Hot tub closed, recreational room and gym closed. Main pool allows 35 people at a time and you have to make reservation before hand. Your able to reserve a 1hr time slot.
Yup heated also a good chance that you won't need heating as sometimes its still warm. Weather should be perfect
Right at the pier there are several rental options try there, you will be pleased
There are several agencies with which you could book, in addition to the airbnb & co. I did booked once through makemyvacation.com for a week and found availabilities for other appartments through Airbnb for shorter periods. I was not disappointed by the complex and i'm planning to go again next year.
Lot of choises within walking distance. Google "oceanside restaurants"
Never been an issue in the six years we've rented in Augist.
I didn't see it in 2017.
