An interesting area to be in, unless you’re a nature person type, but still is nice to be at. The environment is eco-friendly, nice view to see at, and even a good area to fish at! I recommend this place to be made with visitors to be more recognized and others!

If you're not putting in or getting out of the river -- in other words, hiking or cycling -- this park is just okay. The trails are limited and there's a tall chain link fence that separates it from a large industrial area (I think formerly a cotton refinery?). There are bathrooms, but they were closed. I didn't see a picnic area. The trails are relatively short and flattish. The best part was going to the river bank and just hanging out. On a slow, low energy day, this is a decent option.

This is a lovely trail. There are gorgeous views of the Cape Fear River, and the trail is very easily hiked.

Beautiful little area. Very nice and scenic but not th the most stroller-friendly area. Pretty steep hilly areas at times that are hard to push a stroller down without rolling off with it. Goregous for taking nice photos though

This ramp is a free public boat ramp.
You can get in the river, but keep in mind that there are many fishing hooks, broken glass, and who knows what else that can cut you. Also, people drown in the river every year. It is a large river with strong currents and much debris that you cannot see. It is dangerous at it's best and fatal at it's worst. It is a beautiful place to visit. Treat it with respect and care. Enjoy!
Yes but not the best camping spot
