Honestly not what I expected. I went out of my way, took time off from work and paid to receive a custom consultation from a professional on my rosacea and was dissatisfied. I feel there was lack of attention, like they didn’t actually informed me on anything. They just gave me a prescription on an active that I was already using. You first meet with the assistant not the actual doctor and then the doctor just walks in and talks to you for less than 5 min. Felt like he didn’t really analyze my skin or asked me any questions about my skin care routine to really dig deep onto my case. Very surface level consultation. I only give 2 starts because the building is nice and the doctor was handsome.

It was a relief to find an office and personnel that was receptive, organized, efficient and friendly. Of course, since this was my first visit, future comments may be even more positive. Overall, over the past five years I’ve not only noticed, but seen and experienced a significant decline in the organization of staff, treatment and medical as well as patient care not only in San Diego but also other cities in California. However, at West, my doctor actually listened to what I had to say and injected choice into resolving my problem. Medical care should be a joint effort between the patient and the physician. I was very pleased.

The Medical Assistant was very polite and listened carefully when I answered the questions, based on the initial meeting with the Doctor she seemed to have been well informed by the medical assistant. Dr. Tompkins was very receptive and knowledgeable in providing alternatives to things I have tried in the past for my acne. I look forward to returning for my next visit.

Nice office. Parking is a bit of a pain. Leave yourself LOTS of time for parking. I had to wait for quite a while before I was seen, which wasn't great, but Dr. Brouha is a super nice guy and a great doctor. Warm and inviting. I will be back in a year for my check up. Thanks!
