I visited this store in Woodland Hills last week and had a terrific experience dealing with two associates, Ellen and Pia. They are awesome and went above and beyond to take care of my needs. Nordstrom is great because of people like these ladies. Thank you Ellen and Pia for your dedication to customer service and positive attitude and approach.

Very poor customer service. I bought dresses online and I wanted to return them at the store, total of 7 dresses. When I entered the store I saw two ladies and one gentleman were standing at the register near the sunglasses section. I asked if I can process my returns here, they told me I have to go upstairs because they are alls dresses- not true, per Nordstrom policy, any available register MUST process the return- but I was respectful and I went upstairs. I stand in the line untill it was my turn, when the lady saw I have 7 dresses she told to go another register, I refused and I reminded her the company's policy. She nagged while entire time and she could not process she called another lady, the other lady complained to me for having 7 dresses while her customer waiting in the dressing room, they both called another girl, finally that young lady helped. This experience happens twice. Please make sure this issue is handled. I hope someone read this, customer service becomes out of control in Nordstrom Topanga. This is frustrating and I hope someone follow up on this. Again, the experience happens twice on the same location.

Nordstrom is amazing at customer service and returns/exchanges. I have never had a bad or even semi bad interaction, until today. The manager in the customer service /order pick up spot was unbelievably unhelpful. She told me that because the item broke after I wore it(as everything usually does) they couldn’t do anything about it. I have been in the exact situation before years ago and continued to buy jewelry from Nordstrom bc of the ability to exchange or have an item fixed. She was rude and just turned me away… not the policy at all. I called the customer service line and THE WOMAN HELPED ME FLAWLESSLY. again bc that is there policy. Yet somehow that was not taught to the manager in this store.
