Not recommended for a business lunch, especially if you'll be seeking reimbursement from your employer! I process employee reimbursements, and need to do so within 45 days of the business meal. I was given a credit card receipt that did not list the restaurant info at the top, and did not have the itemized copy showing what was ordered. I forwarded this receipt from my company email to the email listed on the website, hoping the date, time and amount could assist the restaurant in locating this visit and provide an itemized receipt for the purpose of providing employee reimbursement. Not all restaurants have this capability, but many have done so upon request. I didn't get a reply but understand many businesses are short-handed, so I waited a week before calling to follow up on my request. I was transferred to the GM who indicated providing an itemized receipt would not be a problem and provided a better email to send my request to. Unfortunately, I didn't receive a reply to this email either, so I called and left a message to see if my email was received. I forwarded my email just in case. Every time I tried calling after that I kept getting voice mail; the one time I did get through and asked for the GM I was placed on hold for 10 minutes so I gave up. I completed an extra form for the employee reimbursement explaining why there was no itemized receipt, and their reimbursement was delayed in the meantime. Most restaurants at least have the courtesy to tell me up front if they don't retain their orders and can't provide an itemized receipt. I would have much preferred if this restaurant had been honest with me, even if they thought they could provide the needed info but were later unable to.

Pepito’s is Great! My favorites are the Taco Tuesdays, the Mole Enchiladas and the Agua Freshca! This is a nice little jewel in the Canyon Crest area of Riverside. Give them a try.

So far the best Mexican restaurant in Riverside…good music. I really enjoyed the saxophone music playing on the background, great ambience. Definitely the place to bring the family…good job on the decor!!!
