An airline damaged my wheelchair and American Wheelchair was tasked with evaluating the damage and resolving my issue. Watching owner John evaluate my chair was like watching a highly skilled auto mechanic. I've been in technical trades my whole life and this man is clearly an expert in his field. John quickly determined that my chair was beyond repairable and he made sure the airline provided me with a brand new identical replacement. He handled all the chair related details. Customer service was excellent. John even delivered my new chair during his off hours just so I would be mobile that much sooner. I have never bought a chair from American Wheelchair, but I can definitely attest to their high level of customer service, extensive technical knowledge of chairs, and above and beyond integrity as a business. Five stars. Thanks American Wheelchair! : - D

My wife and I went to American Wheelchair Center to find a power wheelchair for me. When we arrived, John met us at the door. He let us look at the power chairs on display and answered our questions abot the different chairs. When we were ready to try to determine if they were comfortable he helped me get into various chairs and test them in the store. When we made our choice, my wife wasn't sure if it would fit through the hallway and doors of our home. John offered and brought the chair to my home to test it out. Also, while we were at the Center, John received a couple of phone calls from previous customers and he made appointments to come to their homes after the Center closed. Needless to say I returned and bought a power chair and a lift for my vehicle. I feel I received the best customer service I've ever experienced.

My parents 1st called American Mobility (Not American Wheelchair) to look at my moms power chair that lost complete power. They came out and took the chair to their shop and later called to say that they would need to replace both motors for over $2000 or they could trade my moms fairly new power chair in on a used one. I found it hard to believe that both motors died at the exact same time. I called John at American Wheelchair and he agreed it was hard to believe both motors where bad especially considering the chairs age. We retrieved the chair and took it to American Wheelchair in VIsta and John fixed in on the spot, finding that it had a burnt wiring connection as well as a bad circuit board which he was able to salvaged from a used chair in the back. He was friendly and more than accommodating at making sure my mothers chair was operational again right away. Parts and labor with Am Wheelchair was a fraction of Am Mobility wanted and they wouldn't have even solved the issue! Go see John, he is knowledgeable, friendly, offers fair pricing and outstanding service!

I went in on a Saturday and John was most helpful in replacing some bad wheels on my mother's power-scooter, which we needed ready for Monday the 4th in order to go to the fair. He helped me take the scooter off of its lift on my car, remove the old rotten wheels, and put on two replacement wheels back on to the scooter, all at a very reasonable price. Throughout all of this he was friendly and for the most part wouldn't let me do much of any of the heavy lifting, saying that he didn't want me to hurt myself. I'll go back when I need anything for my Mom's power-scooter or powerchair, and I'm recommending American Wheelchair Center Medical Supply to anyone who wants friendly and knowledgeable service. By the way, the store carries an extensive line of power-scooters, powerchairs, wheelchairs, lifts and ramps, plus, it also carries lots of other assistance-accessories, going way beyond CVS and some of the other medical supply stores that I've been to in the past.
