N.C. Transportation Museum

Should have stopped by in the morning, but wanted to check out some other locations I had planned in the Concord, NC area first. The museum had replica movie vehicles on site today (Saturday 30th July 2022) which I got to see a few as they were leaving. Here are a few pictures attached. Liked what I did get to see, and plan to go back when I can. The locomotive, Bumblebee, and the Jurassic Park Park Warden truck with Safari brown and red Jeep were videos now screenshots to post.

I took my father today. We had a really enjoyable day. He got to tell me all about train riding in his day. The variety of methods of transportation were all over on display. Truly a great experience and way to connect with your parents.

An incredible place to bring the family! Plenty of things to see and do including train rides. Multiple clean bathrooms located around the campus as well as 3 covered picnic shelters. I came specifically for a model train show they were hosting. Definitely coming back with my Grandson to tour the grounds and buildings. The volunteers and staff are so helpful and friendly.

Zigler Ridge

Fun for everyone! My kids ages 3 months-6 years old all enjoyed the train ride and exploring the restored planes, trains, and automobiles. Lots of information surrounding every exhibit and really nice to explore at your own pace.
