Dr. Hartman has done all 3 of my shoulder surgeries. One of which I just had 2 weeks ago. He's really good at what he does.

Great bedside manner among doctors. I also really like a couple of the nurses/PAs I've interacted with. Like Dr. Curry, as he was willing to give me the truth and did not race me into surgery based on my pain levels. I must admit though, the front desk staff can be a bit disorganized. I couldn't get an appointment scheduled or get anyone to call back until days later when I was in severe pain. Failed to get my MRI order approved by insurance in a timely manner and told me insurance was the issue.

Dr. Hartman is an outstanding orthopedic surgeon. I very much appreciate his clinical expertise. This was my second shoulder surgery. He did my right shoulder in February 2020 and my left shoulder in August 2021. I wouldn’t have gone back to him for the second surgery if he was not top-notch. He is excellent. His PA, Renee Tebon, and her MA, Sully Lewis, are beyond wonderful. They are the best! Cheryl, at the front desk, is very nice and pleasant when she checks you in. I so appreciate his team!

I have been seeing Dr. Curry for a few years now and he listens, is very compassionate and cares deeply for his patients. I trust him with my care and know he has the best interest of his patients in mind when determining treatment. My hubby and I highly recommend Dr. Curry!!!!

Questions & Answers

Can you crawl around on your hands and knees after TKR. I am a retired mechanic who still works on my own stuff. How will those knees last. I'm 62 and plan on staying active till my 80s.

Honestly, it depends on how long it's been since the TKR and what does your ortho doctor/physical therapist say.

Do you accept Oregon workers comp?

I'm sure they do as long as your workman comp approves them and they're some of the best surgeons so you might be able to get them to agree but it's up to your work comp ever
