we found it to be very dirty, the laundry room was falling apart, broken window, lights, bugs everywhere, spider webs, machines were dirty, yuck! also , the spots were a joke, so small , there was no room to park your truck or car. no bathhouse, it was broken down too, the owner said she didn't want to keep cleaning it and closed it. the female owner goes around like a commander and makes you sign a packet of paperwork as soon as you arrive. its too small and there was not one level spot in the whole place. also, the owner charged us extra money for a corner spot which she described as "better" and "more expensive" bc it had a private cove". do not be fooled by this. the spot was on a small cliff and still was'nt big enough for two vehicles. not going back.

Stayed 5 nights. It was ok. Our campsite had a lot of debris. Our fire ring was full of trash. We had water, electric and sewer...all worked fine. No showers or restrooms. There was a washer and dryer for laundry. Wifi was ok and worked most of the time. Most spots are long term renters. Cute kids next to us with a bunny hutch. Crazy loud donkey braying at all hours of the day and night.

So much better than their next door neighbors Mt Creek Goldmine. Their cabins are infested with mice. They offer rv hookups, showers and a laundry facility. If you want to have a fun time and not spend a arm and a leg, this is the place to go.

I haven't actually camped here I am writing a review based on the phone call I had with them. The lady I talked to seemed relatively nice but I got a very judgey vibe. She asked how old I was and I told her 25. She said they don't like to have people under 30 stay there. Also they don't want RV'S older than 2005 staying there. I get that they want their campground to look nice and all of that but it just really is a bummer to me that more and more campgrounds are having rules like this. I am a full time RVer and I just want to be able to actually camp and instead I am stuck in a crappy trailer park because the real campgrounds want to shut me down and judge me based off of my age and how old my RV is. All I want is to camp in peace and nature and have full hook ups. Apparently that is not obtainable unless you are old or rich or both... :(

Sorry I dont, but there is a lot of camper in there, if I think of it tomorrow I will take some pictures for you

Don't see the reason for camping or even visiting Cotton patch if there's no gold panning allowed. That is or was the major draw to most folks. With over fifty thousand Acer's of uwharrie to play in, it makes sense to take our pans and tents there.
