Nice campground. But have to reserve a campsite well in advance!!

Great little campground beside the river. Campsites are large and mostly private. River side sites get lots of sun while forest sites are quite shady. There’s easy river access between sites and a small sand/rock beach. Water taps and outhouses are plentiful. In 2020 the park hosts are fantastic - they’re on top of all the things you would want, including regular sanitation (the campground is kept extremely clean).

It's open all year, but winters are rough along the Mt. Loop Hwy.

$18 a night. Good deal. Beautiful spot.
If they have an open spot you can. But I called and book the day before and online.. I was luck I got the only available one. It's better if you book weeks before. Hope that helps.
