I have been dealing with pain in my left hand for years, mostly when I used my thumb. Dr Hamer suggested a surgery removing a small bone in my wrist, thought is sounded a little strange but I had to do something. Well it's been 4 months now and I have full use of my hand with NO PAIN! Loved working with Dr Hamer, very professional, personable and has a great staff! Highly recommend Dr Hamer! Thanks Doc!

Surgery for my son is a scary proposition. His injury has been traumatic for our whole family., Dr. Hamer was excellent. Explained everything and never left until all our questions answered. He came highly recommended from an anesthesiologist friend who deals with many orthopedic specialist in the course of his work. It's clear now why we were referred to him. Entire team impressed. Highly recommend!

Dr. Hamer is great at making things understandable and offering solutions. He treated my husband 5 years ago and I was glad to be able to see him when my hand needed attention. He has a very calm and professional but friendly manner and took all the time I needed.

Very impersonal. Does not seem to pay attention to questions he asked. The usual preconceived notion of a complaint with very very little time spent even undrstanding how i was injured, what i now do and my future hopes. Waited 30 minutesto be seen 10 tops. Gave me a brace and said wear it all the time. Goof nurse says oh no take it off when you want. Called back to clarify. Nurse exact words, "there's no restrictions" dont need to comfirm with Dr. I cant even hold a glass of water with one hand! The entire office is less then poor!

We have a limited supply available at this time, so appointments are being offered on a first-come, first-served basis through MyScripps. Eligibility is based on California state guidelines.
