Park is closed now, but I walk it now. Park started charging $5 for day use. Save your money and walk in. Used mostly by dog walkers, I included. No traffic, no people, no problem! Typical chaparral with some tree dotting the park. Picnic tables throughout park.

An old paved road loops through recovering native habitats, including fields of purple sage. Very restful.

There cleaning it up new roads looks safer to be there 5 stars for quietness 3 stars overall for outdoor activities not much there a few bbq grills and a couple of benches- lonely park I'm the only one there most of the time I've been there

Very quiet and large uphill scaled secluded park. Perfect for the lover's lane types. No restrooms, no baseball diamonds. No soccer fields. Just a lot of unmaintained, thick brush and vegetation. There are secluded picnic tables with barbecue grills. View of city below is nice. This park is more of an adult park as opposed to a place to bring kids. It is not for everyone, but I liked it.

Yes, if you drive in. It's part of the Ventura County parks system.
