Great place! We love the food! They have a wonderful selection of beers on tap! The service is great! The only reason I hesitated to give 5 stars was because the music is painfully loud if you sit near the back. Plus I don't care for rap music. We will definitely go back but will sit near the front from now on. 😊

Trying to find a bar to eat at on a Sunday in this small NC city was challenging but glad we found this place. The had a great section of beer on draft, and cans. Ordered wings for app which were grilled, didn't expect to but they were really good. My food was OK had Alfredo with blackened chicken, nothing special but the lasagna was busting. Enjoyed my visit and Dalen was an amazing server.

We got the Bruchetta Appetizer (delicious!) Greek pizza (very good) & a ham/olive calzone (very good). Food came out hot and fresh. Service was alil slow but totally understandable. Nice taproom for a cute town! Recommended!

I've eaten at Barley's off and on for the last 13 years. Their pizza is always consistent, and you know what you're going to get. The wait staff are always very helpful and friendly. It's a kid friendly place to eat with your family. Other than the pizza, the rest of the food is just okay. Their roasted potatoes were pretty gross the last time I went. I ordered them as a side, and it seemed like they put them in a bowl and microwaved them. They were very mushy, and the seasoning was very soft and mushy. It honestly tasted like Mrs. Dash, which is really nasty. There's never enough salt on any of the food. It really is something that boggles me every time I go to the restaurant. Even the pizza dough doesn't have enough salt. I think there's some weird aversion by the chefs in the kitchen to adding salt to their food. Once you add enough salt to the food, though, it's pretty good most of the time.
