Tacos Catrachos! La Campensina serves delicious food with unique options, drawing on Salvador, Tex-Mex, and other cultures, such as their hella good Tacos Catrachos (Honduran Tacos). We came for their fresh margaritas other reviewers posted about… they did not disappoint, La Campensina is now our favorite spot for traditional margaritas that remind us of that time we were sipping margs in Mexico! 🏝 Oh, and they have great happy hour deals on them too, 3-7pm daily! Wife loves their frozen lime & sangria frozen margarita swirl. I go for either the classic lime margarita, grande of course, or a artisanal Mezcal margarita. We also highly recommend their empanadas (chicken fried turnovers), Pollo con Tajadas (think loaded plantain fries) 😋, and of course their Honduran Tacos. And while I’m not a papusa connoisseur… these were the best papusas I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Oh, and super friendly service! #SupportLocal

Small restaurant with a big heart. The meal was delicious and the service was great. The server was attentive. I'd go back. Decent prices for the area. They have a happy hour with some discounted items. Good margaritas too!

Excellent food. The salsa is outstanding. Carnitas tacos were tender and delicious. Even the rice had great flavor. Friendly service, as well. Highly recommend

Alert Hidden gem! Came across this restaurant while picking up some groceries from a store in the same shopping complex and decided to give it a try for dinner that evening. It's small family owned business and the chef personally came to us and helped us choose the items from their menu. We ordered Cheese and beans papusas , fried plantain for appetisers,spinach enchiladas and chicken chimichanga for the main course. Evening we ate was lip smacking delicious especially the appetisers. Their portions were good sized and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and cheerful. I will definitely recommend trying this restaurant.
