Great store near the airport, all of the product is behind the counter so you need to engage with the excellent staff or owner (the guy sitting by the cat on the counter) for advice on what to get. The staff and the clientele all progressive and a welcome in Hialeah.

I will check the availability for you. It looks as if one distributor sells the 1792 straight bourbon, and another sells the Sweet Wheat, which really shouldn't be, unless the product line recently changed distributors. The straight bourbon is listed as "Limited Availability," which means that they may have some in stock, but I am not allocated any, that they are sending it instead to a favored client. Please note that this is a crime in the state of Florida, a distributor helping one retailer over another. This is called tied house evil. They avoid blatantly breaking the law with this "limited availability" nonsense. The other distributing house lists the sweet wheat as "not available online, please contact your sales rep", which is a nicer way of saying "limited availability." Cutting to the chase, the chances of receiving this product are two, slim & none. It's like when I tried to order Blanton's bourbon and my salesman laughed at me. (update, "No sweet wheat in sight")

I can purchase the ELIJAH CRAIG STRAIGHT BOURBON SMALL BATCH 94 proof whiskey. There are many bourbons that are just unavailable. The issue for me though is not the availability, but the volume I would have to purchase to provide a competitive price. If I buy less than 1 cs of 750 ml bottle of this whiskey, each bottle would cost me $30.70. If I purchase 3 cases , each bottle would cost me $23.25. I can not purchase, or warehouse, enough of every alcoholic beverage to gain a competitive price. So I invest in what sells in my area. Southeast Hialeah is not a very strong bourbon market. I buy in volume, and am very competitive with the products we sell most; scotch whiskies, rums, vodka. If I did have a strong market for Elijah Craig and purchased the 3 cs, I would mark up the product 25%, and retail it for $28.97. But if I am buying it at $30.70, and mark it up 25 %, it would retail for over $38. So, Liliana, yes, I can get this product, but I do not stock it on my shelves.
