My partner and I chose this place because we were looking for a more upscale restaurant for a celebratory meal. Unfortunately, nothing but the prices were upscale about this place. -The interior was very dated (circa 1980’s probably) -The food (we each had different kinds of seafood) was either dry, oily, bland or somehow a combination of all three -My cocktail tasted like cough syrup -The rolls were stale and dry -And though our server was friendly, she was racing around so much that, rather than having a relaxed dining experience, we felt rushed I think for people who know and love this place already, it’s great—seems like it’s been a staple in the community for years… But if you’re looking for a fine dining experience in the Burg with great ambiance and food, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

The staff was lovely. It is an old-school steak and seafood restaurant. It has dated decor but is clean maintained. The food is excellent. I amtr went a friend and she had the T-bone. It was perfectly cooked. I felt like her serving of home fries could have been bigger for the price but she was happy. I had the crab cakes and they were scrumptious. I got to very big cakes, asparagus and a salad. I ate one crab cake and took one home. I ordered baklava for dessert and it was delicious. It is not an inexpensive restaurant but I've been charged more for less at other seafood places so I was happy. I will be going again and have recommended it to several friends.

A long time ago I had an entre in which I think crabmeat was wrapped in phyllo dough. It was one of the most memorable dinner I have ever had in my life! Does this meal still exist on the Progress Grill menu? I would travel many miles

We have never eaten here, do you have to dress up or are jeans and a nice top and shoes acceptable?

Confirming what peope have said, Ive eaten here several times and have seen a mix of attire...anything from jeans and tees to business attire. I did feel a bit underdressed wearing a tee shirt, even if there isn't an official dress code. Ps. Must have the prime rib and greek salad.
