Selection is great. But the two ladies at the register are straight up holes. They are very rude. Took about 10 minutes to check out 5 items. The old lady is rude and just glares. But good place!

My one-star review is solely due to the experience I had with the staff today and not a reflection of the selection, pricing or anything else. After waiting 15 minutes in line, I informed the girl at the counter that I was interested in an antique clock in one of the booths and that I had questions about it. I asked her to accompany me to the booth, so I could show her the particular clock in which I was interested. After staring at me for a few seconds, she said in an unhelpful manner, "Well, I don't know what clock you're talking about." "I understand that," I said. "That's why I'd like to show it to you." She reluctantly left her position at the counter and followed me halfway down the aisle to the booth. I showed her the clock and she looked at it, reading the price label. "It appears to have everything except the pendulum," I said to her. "Do you know if it's missing or perhaps the dealer placed it behind the counter for security reasons?" "I have no idea," she replied. "Well, I'm interested in submitting an offer, but I'd like to know whether it has the pendulum or not, so if you could check, I'd appreciate it." She looked at me, obviously annoyed. I told her what I wanted to offer and asked her if she could submit my offer to the dealer. Seemingly confused, she proceeded to tell me that the label was marked "as is," so the dealer "probably" wouldn't do anything on it. "Well, that's a very reasonable offer and I'd like to see if they'd do any better on it. Plus I'd like to know if the pendulum comes with it," I said. My offer was 20% off asking price and the item was over $100. At most antique stores, they're more than willing to submit offers to the dealers, so long as the item is over a particular amount, usually $20 to $50. Even if they reject your initial offer, they usually counter and, if you agree, they've sold their item and made a profit. She stomped back to the front counter--and proceeded to cash out another customer! She never called the dealer or anything. Abandoned and ignored, she just left me standing there! I went back in line and waited another 10 minutes or so. When my time came once again, I asked her if she was going to call the dealer and submit my offer. "It said that it was as-is, so they won't do anything," she said. "That means it's firm." "It may very well be firm, but as-is concerns condition, not price. If the dealer meant firm, I'm sure they would have said so on the sticker. They said it was as-is because it doesn't work," was my reply. After I said that, an old woman employee barked at me, "We know the difference! It's as-is! We're not calling!" "Ok then," I said in a frustrated tone. "Thanks for your help!" I then left without buying the clock. I go to a lot of antique stores and have done so for years. This was the worst customer service of any that I've been to. Horrible, simply horrible.

Sunday, April 25th, stopped in at Spring Street Antiques in Rockbridge, Ohio located at Hocking Hills Market with hubby, daughter and son in-law to check out the outside and inside vendors. There was a lot of shoppers there mixing together to enjoy the weather and the treasures. We parked in the huge private parking lot and jumped out to start our treasure hunting adventure inside the Spring Street Antiques Store. I was able to find some very interesting items that I wanted to share

Very big and had a lot of things to find here. Big enough to be worth the stop and always find something here. One of my favorites for its selection and variety
