My experiences at the recycling & transfer stations have been very pleasant. Friendly & knowledgeable demeanor from the kind folks that keep the places operating. The remain upbeat even considering the thankless services they provide. Next time your in there give em a smile, wave & a thanks.

Worst customer service. Soooo hard to deal with. The employees all contradict each other and I went and donated my recycling over having to spend another second at that mess 🤣🤣🤣.

I have been coming here for a few years now and usually no problem BUT I saved up a lot of plastic bottles and had them in bags . The Character noticed a milk bottle so made me get out of line and he made me go through all the bags and separate any bottles not CRV. There were a few . I am 80 years old and it was hot and I was standing in the sun. Seems to me this is there job and it would have been much easier for them as they dump the bottles in the basket. Yes this guy was not a nice person and he glared at me as if I was just an inconvenience to him. The women was very nice but they need to work on there people skill because they don't have any right now.

This is one of those places you wish you could give zero stars. The main siskiyou county administration has several complaints please research. They lie about everything to get you to take your recycle there (from price to amount taken). When you won't play their games and have records of your calls and the information they have given they become rude. I was even told to go screw myself when I said I was going to put in a complaint. When they realize you are going to go to overseeing offices and not their office they then try to cover things up by saying they are just trying to stay compliant. The lie that is the most pain in the rear (the one we started and ended with) is that to offload you must empty entire truck or go home and come back with only the amount your off loading (all of mine were bagged separately in trash bags). I had glass, tools, water, plastic, heck I even had laundry. Obviously I'm not offloading so they can go through my things. After this and a few more lies I left, frustrated (didn't want a confrontation or more lies). I called back to discuss these changes and to find out what was really going on (I actually for a bit thought they were playing a practical joke and I had left to soon). I was lied to some more, hung up on, told to screw myself, and told they would call the police because they could. This seems a bit much for recycling some bottles. These folk are aggressive about getting your recycle and even more aggressive when confronted with their lies and told they are not getting your business. To be clear I had about 60 pounds of plastic for recycle and if I had more than 100 pounds in my vehicle total they would pay for nothing, but wanted me to offload all of my things with the plastic so they could weigh and decide. Even when told the load was separated in sections of my things and recycle they said it all had to come off for weigh. The only other option given was to go home and only have recycle in truck. You must be kidding. I should also say I was more than a few miles from home.
