We were able to splurge for dinner and had the grilled strip steak, crab cakes, and cinnamon sugar donut holes. All great choices! I’ve previously enjoyed some of the sandwiches for work lunches and my coworkers love the chowder.

If you want great seafood in Staunton, this is the place to go. The oysters are fresh, but ask for the daily catch or the whole fried fish specials. Whatever whole fish they fry, it is going to be amazing. And yes, the fish and chips is fantastic as it needs to be, crispy and juicy in the middle. Some of the best fried seafood I have had in a long time.

We had dinner there to close up a beautiful getaway weekend. First of all the atmosphere is just so chill and the staff super friendly. Our waitress was Samantha and you can tell she really knew what she was talking about regarding the menu. I ordered the Mahi Mahi fish and the hubby had the NY strip for our entrees and we had Oysters and crab dip as an appetizer. The food was excellent! The oysters so fresh you’d think they just caught them on the back of the restaurant. The Mahi Mahi was cooked to perfection with deliciously roasted vegetables. The NY strip was delicious as well. I’d definitely recommend. The drinks were delicious as well and came fast. Did I mention the food comes out fast too? If you’re ever in the Staunton area this is a must visit place. You will not regret it…and tell Samantha Hi for me 😉

The environment was clean and a nice coastal cozy feel, the staff was very friendly. am a Floridian so fresh seafood is my jam! Unfortunately, my lobster was a little too chewy and underseasoned and my fingerling potatoes were undercooked. The lobster bisque was different than I am used to but good. The fries we ordered were crispy and delicious and the shrimp cocktail was good. Try it for yourself. They other items that may be much better to order here. If we pass through again I will try something else and see what we think.
