Honestly, the food was good, the prices are excellent and the wait time for the food was good. However, before I could put the last bite of my food in my mouth, she was reaching for my plate to clear our table. Everyone else had JUST BARELY put their last bites in their mouths. WAY TOO RUSHED. It seemed she was more focused on getting us out than our actual service. Young dark/black haired girl. Other than that, I would definitely recommend the Rail Yard as a nice little stop in either on your way to or from Appomattox Battlefield.

Nice hole in the wall. Enjoyed a BLT on whole wheat with a side of fried okra and fried apples. Yum! Waitress very friendly and chatty but slow on the refills and getting us checked out. Of course, we were the only 2 people in the place until the rain stopped, then the dining room quickly filled up. Obviously popular.

The food was amazing. My daughter took me.. I had the BBQ plate. The portions are wonderful. More than you will eat, and the pricing is great. Would highly reco.end for homestyle cooking.

Nice little place to eat. Friendly place. The Brisket is amazing. They have homemade BBQ sauce that are really tasty. Spend your money local when you come here.
