We recently attended a family reunion and the Kamiah KOA. When we arrived we were told that the restrooms were not in service and that we needed to use the facilities over by the pool. We have many elderly family members and small children and this was too far for them to go. We were not informed ahead of time of this change or provided the option of a porta pot. When we approached the manager she became confrontational and used extremely vulgar language. Completely inappropriate behavior when we calmly explained our situation. We did rent a portable restroom, paid for ourselves, for the three day event.

I recently attended a 3 day family reunion at this campsite. When we got there we discovered the bathrooms next to the site that had been rented were out of order. The majority of the attendees were older individual but we found out that we were expected to walk a good distance down to the pool area if we needed to use a bathroom. When the planners of this event asked if the owners would rent a porta potty for us, apparently the answer was no, with no offer of a discount. I feel the customer service was very poor and the planners should have been made aware of this prior to all these people arriving.

We stayed over the Fourth of July weekend and left one day early. I didn’t feel the sites were maintained very well- where ruts developed from mud and campers, mulch was thrown over it and that didn’t take care of it. The size of our site was nice though. The kids liked the pool and the playground but the trash on the ground in the play area was there all weekend- never saw any employee picking up or cleaning. The pool and the rest room were both clean and in good shape. Not a KoA I would care to revisit

I travelled across the country from the east to the west coast. I camped so many times in different KOA sites that I couldn’t remember. But this place is definitely the WORST KOA site from Massachusetts all the way to Idaho. The staffs were GREAT : friendly nice and impeccable. But all tent sites were basically grassless MUD PITS. You’d even need a 4x4 just to reach your tent site! Not to mention the virtually nonexistent wifi signals in tent sites. In this case, why bother pay to camp here than camping for free in the national forest?

Yes, you can.
We paid $37.89 a night. We are a pop up tent trailer, not a big rig RV.
Hi Chris, Yes, we have several trees throughout the campground and at the tent sites that could work for you. Thanks!
Yes, I believe you can.
The mountians near the site are riddled with trails....just have to drive a few miles to drop the atvs. Most locals or even the owner of dales cashway (the gun stoe/gas station just down the hwy) can point you in the right direction.
Depends on fire restrictions during that time.
Yes they have cabins rv sites tent sites and a motel
