I came here on a recommendation and it was quite good. I had the Jager Schnitzel with mushroom gravy, red cabbage, and German potato salad. The prep and service was fast. I had enjoyed the schnitzel and cabbage. The potato salad was ok. They served a marble rye with butter. To wash it down I opted for their Pilsner that was crisp and refreshing. For dessert I tried their apple strudel. It was ok. Not fresh or homemade as the pastry was soft; not crisp. The vanilla sauce was on the watery side. I doubt I’ll order it again, and will try their Black Forest cake. It’s strange that they’re open from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. As good as they are, that’s their hours. Mind the local drinking at the bar, and don’t say you’ve not been warned to limit the conversation as he’s opinionated; and takes offense over cooking. Very strange character.

Absolutely delicious! Fast and friendly service. I've been dying to have schnitzel since the first time I tried it years ago, and this really scratched that itch. The live accordion music and rich decor makes eating here a fun experience. Very worth your time!

Great German restaurant fro schnitzel and other tastes of Germany. The restaurant is small in a small strip mall. It appears to be popular with locals and was very busy when I arrived on a Thursday evening. I sat at the bar which has seats for about 5 guests. The bar seats filled up as I was visiting the restaurant. Service was good. I observed the staff working hard to keep up. Don't be stingy on the tips - I felt the staff did a great job while handling some difficult orders. The menu is limited and concentrates on variations of the Schnitzel. This is great since most restaurants I visit only offer the "Wiener" and really the "Schweiner" Schnitzel. I tried the Rahm Schnitzel and would have preferred a bit more flavor and creamy sauce. I was disappointed it was not served hot - my preference when I serve Schnitzel to my family. Service was very fast, so I was surprised my meal was not hot. The red cabbage was spot on, perhaps a bit more tangy for some people. Very authentic and close to my Mom's recipe. The potato dumpling was filling and served with gravy which is appropriate. I definitely plan to visit again, perhaps earlier in the evening when I'm in the area.

PLEASE LOOK AT THE 1 STAR REVIEWS IF YOU WANT TO LAUGH YOUR @$$ OFF. In these days of misinformation and nonsense.. all of these one stars are obvious trolls who don't know schnitzel! Love authentic environment, the owner, the staff AND especially the accordion player 🤙🏻 I recommend the JägerSchnitzel with an added fried egg, spätzle, and red cabbage to help it all settle along with a pilsner brewed to the German purity law. 100x Better than any Wisconsin german restaurant I've been to. I'd put it above Deutschland destinations themselves! 🖤❤💛
