Lines get very long here and as described in other reviews, homeless people at the entrance asking for money. You are better off using self checkout because the regular checkout lines get backed up in a hurry and most of the time they only have one checkout line open. Otherwise employees are friendly and actually know where their products are in the store if you need them. Pandemic has hit the store hard and prices on many items have really hit hard, especially with bacon on average of $8 a pack. Sometimes they have sale on Bar S brands but not other ones. Not as modernized as the one on Santa Clara Street and stock on items can be iffy at this location.

We went in looking for some of the items in the ad. We couldn't find them. I saw a Man in the deli & asked Him. I wish I cought His name. He talked to us for a bit. We shared w/Him that we didn't come in very often. He asked Why we said we always run into an unfriendly or unwilling staff to Help. We told Him 1 checker would not help us get the card or whatever is needed to get the discounted items. Sorry right now I can't think of what's it called. He Hugged us & said I'm sorry about that just down load the app. Then showed us w/His phone how to get it & how to use it & how you accumulate points & it can go toward future items to purchase! That is Awesome! Unfortunately the items we were searching for was not in either of the 2 places it could be. Then He told us when it will be made again to come & get it. Unfortunately I can't go out by myself at this time. My Wife would be at work. She went after work ,but No luck. So everyone wanted the chicken & Tri tip enchiladas for 7.99. Well hope they get offered again soon & try them. I told my Aunt But, she too did not go in time. So if You have trouble w/the app. go to the deli where a Loving tall then Black Man is! Great smile & willing to Help! So Refreshing & Delightful!

Friendly staff, they don't hassle me about having a backpack, which is nice. Hand baskets and carts are always available. They are open long hours which is great. I wish the bike rack outside was more secure, I don’t feel safe leaving my bike locked to it as is.
