These guys were GREAT! This place is GREAT! Instead of going to the Apple Store in Oxmoor and waiting for over an hour, I went here and I am so glad I did. The price was right too!!

I am pretty clueless about tech things. I had actually Googled to find Tech Restore. I needed to update an old iPad I had. Tech Restore had a number of options. Very grateful

I've worked computer repair, I've worked IT, hell now I work in cyber. These guys don't know customer service or repair. First my wife gets called with a quote, then gets called saying actually it's going to be more than what we quoted you. No big deal, I get it surprises happens especially with computers. But then she gets a call "hey your part just came in the guy will have it ready for you tomorrow". Fantastic, quick turn around. Well fast forward a week and a half later, she's gotten that call maybe 5 times and it's still not done. I know what the repair intails and how long it should take. Definitely shouldn't take over a day and you definitely shouldn't be promising that something will be "ready tomorrow" 5 different times

I encountered this store by accident and I’m glad I did! First of all I found out that the owner is a fellow Marine! The TechRestore employees were knowledgeable, engaging and professional! I couldn’t have asked for a better scenario. This repaired my iPad 6 gen and added a screen protector for me in no time. I would definitely recommend Jeff and his staff for all your technology needs and repairs. Semper Fi Derrick Dennis

Hey Eleanor, we have a showroom full of Certified Pre-Owned Apple devices. We are open from 9AM-6PM during the week and 10AM-5PM on Saturday and happy to help. If you have an specific questions, we can be reached at 502-398-6456. Thank you ma'am!
When do you repair? Some people like the rule of thumb that says you should definitely fix something if the repair costs are less than 50% of the original purchase price. Even if the costs are a bit more there may be something to reducing waste and keeping with what you've already got.
No matter who does the repair, our long-standing advice remains. Don't spend more than 50 percent of the cost of a new product on repairing an old one. And if an item has already broken down once before, replacement may make more sense. Warranties don't improve satisfaction.
Repairing and maintaining what you have frees up money for more rewarding things, and makes you happier in both the long and short term. Repairing is itself an experience, one you can look back on with satisfaction, and likely some pride.
If you are seeing our location on Google maps, then we are more then likely near you within 10 miles and can service your phone or do your iphoen repair same day. We also offer other services.
Repairing Saves Money So, if your device has broken screen, liquid damage, charging problems, battery issues or any other similar fault, then it is best to go for repairing rather than spending hundreds of bucks on getting a new smartphone.
Yes! TechRestore is happy to evaluate most all devices including MacBooks for trade in. For the best value, make sure to bring everything that came with it including adapter. Then, stop in at your convenience and we will get your device checked in and checked out! Thanks!
Jerry, Thanks for reaching out. I would first call a shop that does more with music speakers like Mom's Music or the Doo Wop Shop. We haven't seen a Karaoke amp in our store but we are willing to help. You are welcome to stop in at your convenience for us to take a look. Thanks!
I'm not sure. You're best bet is to call them.
Hey Mark, physically the hard drives will work in either device. That stated, there are specific drivers that are needed to run the other components of the machine that wouldn't be present. If you wipe the drive and do a fresh install of Windows and add back the drivers, you should be good to go. If you run into any trouble, we are happy to help. Thanks!
I dont work there but I'm sure the guys can take care of you. They are all apple certified techs and every single one of them knows what they are doing they can fix just about anything. Not sure on appointments just call might get you in the day of.
Marcia, Thank you for reaching out. We can certainly help with the replacement of your Lenovo touch screen. Unfortunately, with so many models available it is hard to quote a price blindly. I recommend stopping in and seeing us at 4036 Taylorsville Rd., 40220. We are happy to provide free diagnostics and get a reliable quote together for you. Thank you!
Hey Ben, thanks for reaching out. Yes, we replace iPod Touch batteries but since they aren't a common request, we do not keep in stock. Please stop in at your convenience and we can verify and order a replacement for you. Thanks!
