I just started going to the library with my daughter this summer. Early literacy is extremely important to me and it became very clear that our current book collection would not be expansive enough. Mostly everyone is extremely friendly, I only had one off putting experience, but I just shrugged it off. I have not ventured too far into this library because my biggest focus is on my daughter. The kids area is so great actually! So many books and new books all of the time to choose from! Also checking out a book is a breeze. I was shown one way and realized quite quickly if you place all the books in a stack, it typically recognizes all of them. It’s honestly impressive. We go to a bunch of story times where we meet up with friends. The little play area is very cozy and a good gathering spot for everyone to interact with each other. We truly love Miss Melissa and Miss Nöelle. My daughter is especially in love with Coco. Thank you for providing a wonderful place and experience for us. We truly hope to make more meaningful memories here in the future.

Amazing! Would be a understatement. The is a great place to get some books, relax and just enjoy your day. Lots of parking and well lit. Very clean and calm atmosphere. Lots of books, dvds and computers. You get Peacocks too. Highly recommended. Kid friendly as well.

Staff is helpful, cheerful and respectful, awknowledging that the library is funded by tax dollars paid by the citizens of Glendale. They have excellent resources, books, movies, computers, and reference material. They provide announcements offering info on community and other events for all age groups that inform us of what, when and where things are happening in the valley that people can attend. Glendale Library is an excellent library with lots of parking and beautiful grounds with botanical gardens, live peacocks, a War Memorial and other features to serve the public.

Yes
The peacocks from Saguaro Ranch Park still visit the library frequently.
We do have Black Butler that you can check out with a Glendale Library Card.
I would assume that you would go to the city website and see it there were any job openings
