Bizarre experience at this place. We're shopping for a home, stopped in here, all we got was interrogation from the lady in the office. We answered a few questions and said look, we just want to check out some lot models. She wouldn't stop with the questions! I realize loans and builders are important but if your product doesn't work for us, it just doesn't matter. Can we just see some homes? Yammer yammer yammer, more questions and now objections. It's not like we're wasting your time, we're the only people there. YOU'RE NOT BUSY. Finally we just turned around and left. The folks a couple blocks away were more than happy to let us look. Guess who's not buying from Caris?

Working with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare!! We were told 13-16 weeks after we put money down, our house would be delivered. We have now been waiting 35 weeks and do not even have a projected time when we might have our house. Not only do they not communicate with you about what is going on, they also do not seem to even know what is going on!! Every time we speak to someone from their office, they have another excuse and seem not to have any answers to my questions, nor can they relieve any of my concerns.Then, after being told that if we put money down, the price would not go up, guess what? The price went up! The owner was neither professional, understanding or tactful when I voiced my frustrations. DO NOT give these people any of your money! Unless you want to be out thousands of dollars with no place to live. Save yourself a headache and take your money elsewhere.

The weather co-operated and my home was delivered on time in February without any problems.
