I had a great birthday dinner here yesterday with my son and daughter in law the food is always amazing!!! I have been eating at LA Fondas since I was 9 it all began at the Tempe location over on Scottsdale Rd & Curry in the Wolco shopping centers Family and friends even worked there in the 70s the atmosphere is always warm and inviting 😀

Have eaten there 3 times in the past 2 months. We love it. The chili rellenos are really good!!!!! If you don’t know what to get try the sampler platter. Allows you try a little bit of everything. The service has always been spot on. Very cordial, quick and accurate. It is a little on the pricey side, but most things these days are so I don’t fault them. The margaritas are really good too! I highly recommend La Fonda! In fact, I think we will go there again now! 🤗

We've been waiting for LaFonda to reopen! After years of seeing friends and family post when they'd stop by the Baseline location, my bf and I decided to stop in one day and liked it quite a bit. We were sad to see them close and watched the website hoping for a reopening. Good food and genuine staff. This is a business we're happy to support. Glad you're back!

After hearing good things about this place, we thought we’d give it a try. I have to say, It was a mixed experience. The food is really good, but it is seriously overpriced for what you get. The chicken burro was tasty. I ordered rice and beans with it. The portions were ridiculously small, yet it cost $4.50 extra. The tortilla chips were excellent and the salsa was perfect. The service was friendly and helpful. The refried beans are vegetarian, which is a plus. With all the local Mexican spots that are more reasonably priced, I probably won’t be back.
