I personally have never stayed here but I've partied out front a couple of times during the balloon rallies. The people I fly with that have stayed here have said that it is very nice. Right on the edge of town and very welcoming and attentive to people. There's a nice barbecue out front with a bunch of seats and some shade cover that you can enjoy the outdoors with your friends.

The Rock Motel was an absolute delightful place to stay while in Mountainair. The rooms were very clean and spacious with comfortable beds. All the amenities including: wifi, cable, microwave and mini fridge. Also a delightful patio with a propane grill for guests to use! The owners were more then accommodating, friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at The Rock Motel again whenever I am in the area!

A friend and i went there turkey hunting this weekened we stayed here for two day and it was fine except for when it came down to watch the news or on the TV there was nothing on TV they didn't have a very good channel selection at all... and there was no condiments like coffee ... Usually there is in most places,. and being a big coffee drinker that's kind of a big deal .... But other then that the room was great interesting and unique bathroom too, over clean and quiet!?
