We've been living here for almost 2 years. We really love the neighborhood and the location. But we have had nothing but problems with our A/C each summer. Management refuses to replace our unit (or give us a window unit) even though our apartment gets to almost 90 degrees with the A/C unit on. Our electric bill for a 2 bedroom is outrageously high because we have to leave multiple fans and the A/C unit on at all times just to survive the Albuquerque heat. The maintenance people are excellent and have done their best to get our A/C unit working properly. We will not be renewing our lease only because we are absolutely miserable in the heat and we are upset that the management does not want to invest in their tenants.

I am beyond disappointed and would not advise anyone to move to this property. Though well maintained- Greystar recently raised the rent to almost $2000 for a tiny 2 bedroom one bath. The old office staff was working with corporate to negotiate better rates for the residents. When they informed me the rate increase would not be adjusted I gave my notice and moved- as a single parent I could no longer afford rent with the price increase and the very steep electric bill (everything in the apartment is electric). Average monthly electric bill: $200-$250 A month after I moved. Im sent a bill for $2,190.84 for miscellaneous charges, including a full month’s base rent. I moved due to the rent increase- I had no other option and I could not afford to stay for a full 60 days. I had no control over the price increase and they still have the audacity to try and collect money from me. Steer clear of this place- everyone in the office is new, and very inexperienced. When I attempted to talk to one of the new hires in the office- I was told: Yeah, the price of everything is going up-like that was news to me. I’m so disappointed that this once nice community has become so heartless and strictly about taking as much from people, as they can get away with.

Our one bedroom apartment PNM bill is higher than a 5 bedroom house. We’ve reached out to management who gave us the run around stating that it’s a PNM issue and PNM saying it’s the apartments issue. When you try and talk to the front office assistant manager, she states there’s nothing she can do even though it’s a known issue throughout the property for the last few years. Basically we’re stuck fronting a high bill with no help to fix the situation what so ever.

Maintenance guys are great, optimal location near a park and Smiths, and generally nice apartments. The 2bed 2baths do have small kitchen cabinets. Most are not wide enough to fit plates, pots, or pans in so storage becomes an issue. Most of the management team is kind and helpful, but my email interactions with one of them tends to be prickly. These interactions are few but so vehemently unsatisfying that they bring down my rating to 3 stars. Miscommunication and poor understanding always occur with her. For example, for a work order she said that she had tried to call me, when I received no calls. Apparently, my correct number is on file so I don't see how this could happen. Definitely try to work with maintenance directly if you have any work orders that are schedule-sensitive. The maintenance guys are extremely prompt, kind, and helpful.

Hello Connie, Thank you so much for the kind words! We have a washer and dryer in each apartment already and the model is specific so that our maintenance techs are able to easily order parts and service them when necessary. For that reason, we do not allow residents to install their own set. Please let me know if you have any additional questions and have a wonderful day. Spencer
We offer a full-size washer and dryer in every home!
Hello Catherine, Yes, we do accept cats but unfortunately, our largest apartment is a two bedroom two bath. Please give us a call at 821-5222. Have a wonderful day!
