Great local joint, or at least it felt authentically local to this Californian. Several blue collar work trucks parked out front, which is always a good sign. They recommended the bistec burrito as a spicy option, and it did not disappoint. Also when I asked for a cup of water they gave me a huge cup with ice (no charge), which was great on a hot July afternoon in Albuquerque.

I really enjoyed the outdoor experience. The food was delicious and fresh. The wind blowing through my hair while I ate made me want to return to this place.

Good little spot, but at the time, it was order for take out only. Door was closed, but ordered were still being taken. The Ham-burgesa was delicious.

I had the sope de res and it was not good at all. I expected way better from a Mexican restaurant. It came with a half potato, a small piece of carrot, corn on the cob about an inch thick and very few pieces of meat which had so much fat I couldn't even eat it. The container had mostly broth and that was very bland. My friend had the taco burger I believe but when he opened it we laughed so hard. It was a hard taco shell with half a hamburger patty and I think a little bit of lettuce. It was a sad day for sure.
