Boyfriend tried to work there they said they'd call him back and never did. My boyfriend also said that if Osha were to walk in they'd be shut down and they weren't organized.

I am one person who values the services of local businesses - key reason why I went in this shop rather than a shop in Pottstown that I had visited for over 10 years until I moved to Douglassville. However, some of the personalities at these businesses do not always welcome all customers especially if they do not look or speak like them. I certainly would NOT recommend this shop to anyone within my social scope for any business reasons. I took my everyday car in this shop for a state inspection and the tech (s) said that I needed two rear brakes and two tires for the passenger side. I also purchased an oil change. They were selling the tires for $115 each. I asked if they had any other tires at a lower cost and that was it. The tech's first response was that I was being cheap and a tire at a lower price would be junk tires. I told them to only perform the oil and brakes changes and I was going to change the tires somewhere else and come back for the inspection sticker. They agreed and I paid for the services and drove off. The tires were changed and my wife returned to get the stickers and the tech refused to place the stickers on the car stating that the tires were only rotated, and one tire was in the wrong direction along with telling my wife how cheap I'm being and that I am getting junk parts. I checked and one tire was a directional and it was inside out. I took it back to the tire shop and they removed and reinstalled it properly. I went back to American tire and brake, they said that I had to pay for a new inspection. I told them that I was not going to pay twice for inspection within two days on the same car. After a few twists and turns between the shop clerk and techs, the clerk asked for my registration and insurance. She took the stickers and went out to the car. She removed the old stickers and left them on my dashboard and placed the new ones. She then printed and handed me a receipt and off I went. NEVER GOING BACK TO THEM. They stand right in the garage and talk about customers while they are just behind a door and can hear them. The clerk could be a better person, but her work environment is very unprofessional.

My dad was coming here for years. I started coming here after my dad told me this is where I need to go after having problems with another automotive service. Not only were they friendly, but they were quick and knowledgable of what was wrong with my car. I still come here 3 years after my dad has passed and am never disappointed in the service or prices.
